CSIP, along with partner Microsoft and event co-organizer Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies Global (ASOP Global) participated in the International Symposium on Drug Supply Chain Security & Combating Counterfeit Drugs held in Beijing on October 28. 2016. The event had over 150 participants with CSIP/ASOP staff noting: “The cross industry partnership panel session went very well and Yang Tao (of the Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit) did a great job. His presentation was well received and there was significant audience interaction.”
The lead organizers for the event were the Partnership for Safe Medicines and the China Centre for Food and Drug International Exchange. Key topic areas discussed included the importance of international cooperation and global track and trace activities. Below are some photos from the event.
