Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Opioid Challenge

woman typing on computer

“Opioid overdoses are the leading cause of death for Americans under 50 years old — killing roughly 64,000 people in 2016, at a pace faster than the HIV epidemic did at its peak.”

This is an alarming statistic – which is why the opioid epidemic was declared a public health crisis in the US in 2017. It is also why the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, in partnership with Shatterproof and Catalyst Health 2.0, is launching an opioid challenge to find the next great technology solution for helping families who are impacted by the opioid crisis.

Pre-registration is open now until March 22 and is the first step in applying to participate.
