“Pharmaceutical associations go to war against illegal internet pharmacies.
Four major pharmaceutical associations, International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA), Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), and Japanese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA), issued a joint statement calling for fight against counterfeits.Their call to action comes just as a group of private U.S. companies launches Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies (CSIP), an initiative that will target illegal internet pharmacies.”
