CSIP Launches “Keep Meds Safe” Video Contest

The Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies has launched a new “Keeps Meds Safe” video contest. This effort is designed to generate interest and awareness of the dangers of illegal online pharmacies in a fun and playful way, while also highlighting CSIP’s mission to promote and encourage safe online pharmacies through education, enforcement, and information sharing. Coordinated through Tongal, an internet portal linking creative video makers with organizations, the contest includes a total overall prize of $15,000, potentially divided among multiple winners.

The contest is divided into two phases. The first phase, scheduled to run from August 7 to 20, 2012, involves submitting ideas for a video and presenting that idea in 140 characters or less. A second phase, slated for August 21 to September 24, 2012, will feature five winning ideas from the first phase. Participants will be encouraged to create a 60-second video based on one of these ideas and the established criteria identified by CSIP.

More information about this exciting opportunity can be found on CSIP’s “Keep Meds Safe” Video Project page on Tongal.
