CSIP Announces Finalist Ideas in “Keep Meds Safe” Video Contest

The Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies has announced five finalist ideas for its “Keep Meds Safe” video contest, powered by Tongal. Each of the five finalists, who submitted 140-character-or-less ideas for videos in the contest’s first phase, shared a portion of an overall $15,000 cash prize. These entries can now be used by video creators to submit short vignettes in the final phase of the contest. From among the 60-second-or-less video entries posted to the contest’s Tongal website between now and October 15, CSIP will select winning entries and distribute the remaining prize money.

The “Keep Meds Safe” contest is designed to generate interest and awareness of the dangers of illegal online pharmacies in a fun and playful way, while also highlighting CSIP’s mission to promote and encourage safe online pharmacies through education, enforcement, and information sharing.  The effort is being coordinated through Tongal, an internet portal linking creative video makers with organizations.

More information about the finalist ideas, submission instructions and evaluation criteria for video submissions can be found on CSIP’s “Keep Meds Safe” Video Project page on Tongal.
